Shilajit For Erections

I’ve been using shilajit for erections for several
years now…shilajit-for-erections

And during this time I’ve learned quite a few things about this powerhouse supplement.

For one, you’re going to get the biggest erectile impact the first few times you take it.

But after the first few doses, the erection boost is going to fade a little bit.

But, you can get those erections back if you cycle off it for a week, then cycle back on again.

This is the plan I follow….

But its not the only way it can be done, because the testosterone / testicle benefits don’t fade quite as fast.

So if bigger testicles, more semen and more testosterone are your primary objectives…you can take shilajit daily for quite some time before it becomes necessary to cycle off.

And there’s another reason you may want to take shilajit daily…

As this supplement enhances the impact of any other supplement you happen to be taking.

For example, if you use shilajit with goat weed, tongkat ali or pine pollen…

You’re going feel a much bigger hormonal/erection hit than if you took either of these herbs in isolation.

So you need to decide which way you want to go before you start using it.

If you decide to use shilajit for erections, I suggest dosing up once every 7 days with a high quality resin.

To enhance the impact, take a pea sized piece, then take a sip of hot coffee and let the resin melt in your mouth, then hold for about 30 seconds.

Do this, and some of the shilajit will be absorbed through the mucus membranes inside your mouth.

This will get the resin into your bloodstream much faster, as this method by bypasses the liver.

Now this next point is going to sound strange, but its true…

When you melt the shilajit in your mouth like this, your testicles will actually grow in size in a couple of hours.

(Take a quick peek at this graphic to see why).

And the growth will be quite noticeable if the supplement hits you right.

Another thing you’ll notice is that all these benefits of shilajit come on much stronger when you’re already feeling it hormonally.

In other words, if you woke up with morning wood and a decent baseline of sexual desire, a dose of shilajit will kick things up into the stratosphere.

On the other hand….

If you had a run in with a case of beer the night before, or something similar, the impact will be minimal.

Of course this is true of all supplements, which explains why any supplement you take needs to come along with a side dish of good lifestyle habits.

Now lets summarize before I send you over to Jason….

If you decide to use shilajit for erections, take it once a week, then cycle off it for seven days. And make sure you use the shilajit on a day when sex is most likely to happen.

Why?

Because this will bring on an erection afterglow effect that occurs anytime you have a successful sexual conquest.

And trust me…if the supplement hits you just right, it will be a successful event.

On the other hand, if your primary objective is more testosterone, more semen and bigger testicles, you can take shilajit daily.

That being said, I’d still cycle off occasionally to give your liver a break.

Now here’s Jason with more…

Shilajit For Erections – Part 2:

Shilajit (also called “rock sweat” or “stone oil”) doesn’t look like something you’d want to eat. It oozes as a resin from cracks in rock, where it accumulates over decades.

Shilajit is a humic substance, meaning it’s a type of humus.

Not the delicious chickpea paste, but rather a soil-like matter made from decomposing plants, fungus and lichen. When humus accumulates in cracks between rock, it gets pressed into paste.

When the rocks warm, the shilajit expands and oozes out of the crack.

That’s what shilajit supplements come from: a pressurized accumulation of all the best nutrients from whatever plants grow on that part of a mountain.

Most medicinal shilajit comes from high in the Himalaya, Caucasus or Altai mountains, and are rich in humic acid, vitamins A, B and C, and most dietary minerals.

This is obviously good for general wellness, and some research shows it can be especially good for sexual health for a variety of reasons.

Shilajit Reduces Stress Hormones

Shilajit is a powerful adaptogen.

That means it reduces your secretion of stress hormones under periods of…um…stress.

Stress is bad for erectile health because those stress hormones run a serious number on the physiology behind erections, testosterone production and libido.

Some of the compounds in shilajit block cortisol (one of the key fight-or-flight hormones), directly reducing the impact of stress on your sexual health.

While it’s at it, shiljit has been shown to increase your production of dopamine.

Dopamine is a feel-good hormone your body releases in times like after exercise, enjoying a great movie, or spending time with friends and loved ones.

That increased dopamine reduces anxiety, fatigue and depression** — all of which have adverse impacts on your ability to achieve and maintain an erection.

It’s a double-whammy of erectile goodness.

The impact shilajit has on these stress hormones reduces those responsible for poor sexual health while increasing those that make good sexual health more likely.

There’s a reason people have used shilajit for erections for centuries to help with marital woes in the bedroom.

Shilajit Boosts Testosterone

You already know how important testosterone is to many aspects of sexual health. It’s the primary male gender hormone and its impact includes, but is not limited to:

  • Libido
  • Energy and fatigue
  • Erectile health
  • Sperm production
  • Sperm health
  • Testicular health
  • Mood

Too little testosterone (in men) has a negative impact on all of these factors.

A healthy amount, or even a little above normal, can create positive change in each. Research on shilajit strongly suggests it can help create that healthy or above average amount (source).

A pair of studies conducted in the past six years investigated the impact of shilajit extract on testosterone levels in both infertile men and men who were sexually healthy.

Both noted a significant increase of indicators for testosterone and sexual health after a treatment course of 90 days.

The healthy subjects had an average testosterone increase of 20%, while the infertile subjects saw an increase of 23%.

The infertile subjects were also tested for sperm count and quality, with increases of 61% and 37% in those two measures (source).

Science has yet to investigate why shilajit has such a dramatic and consistent impact on testosterone production.

Heck, it hasn’t really even begun to investigate exactly what compounds exist in what quantities, or the differences between shilajit extracts taken from different parts of the world.

But it has definitively established that the impact exists, and that the impact is positive for mens’ sexual health.

Shilajit Boosts Circulation

As you may recall from other articles on this site, circulation is the mechanic by which erections happen.

Poor circulatory health means poor erectile health, and better erectile health relies on improved circulatory health.

Shilajit delivers a one-two-three combination punch for erectile health owing to its multiple healthful benefits to the human circulatory system.

The first punch is a direct improvement on heart function, an effect recognized for centuries by practitioners of Ayurvedic healing.

Shilajit directly protects the muscles in the heart, improving tone and for better function under normal circumstances while making it more resistant to heart attack.

The second punch is improved circulation (source).

The fulvic acid in shilajit directly improves the efficiency of your cardiovascular system, increasing blood flow and the amount of oxygen in that flowing blood.

Although this impact was originally used to help fight altitude sickness, it is equally effective in improving general circulatory (and thus erectile) health.

The third punch is reduced inflammation, a benefit of the humid acid and fulvic acid content, which is a good thing, as inflammation diverts blood flow from its regular route to wherever the swelling is happening (source).

That means less blood for other functions, like keeping lead in your pencil.

Taken together, these three benefits to your circulation equate directly to easier, longer, stronger erections. A healthier heart plus healthy erections is never bad news.

Shilajit for Erections – Conclusion

Besides the impact on sexual health, the benefits for relieving stress and the physical impact of stress are reason enough to add shilajit to you daily regime.

Not a lot of research has happened about how much shilajit to take for best results.

Only two human studies have been conducted, finding that 200mg per day was sufficient to make a significant difference.

Just make sure you take it first thing in the morning, as it increases energy and can lead to  insomnia if taken too late in the day.

The study mentioned above found the best results came after 90 days of continuous use, so don’t give up on the protocol if you don’t see an improvement in erections immediately.
